A woman I don't know, but is a friend of friend type of thing, lost a little girl, Angela Grace, after being full-term, she experienced delivery complications. The mother also had complications, and it is a blessing she is still here. Angela was delivered on Thanksgiving, and went back to God yesterday. My heart just aches for her. This was her first child. How do you get past this? How do you move forward? We had a lot of reasons to be hopeful for a healthy pregnancy after our Angela Felicity. Enough that we were able to stay positive. I had milestones to work with. Test results, ultrasounds, and even getting past the 22-week and 6-day mark. But how do you have hope when you've had a full-term pregnancy, and that despite being a complication free pregnancy, complications occur during delivery? I know God has his own plans, and that we have to trust Him and have faith. That is not going to be easy for Angela's parents, whose world just fell down around them.
Please pray for baby Angela, and her parents. For coming to peace with God over this experience, and for a healthy physical recovery for the mother, and an emotional recovery for both parents, and the family and friends who are also grieving.
